Six things.
That is all.
A brutally simple daily priority tracker built on the Ivy Lee method: six items per day. No more. Offline-first, on your device.
Ivy Lee's six, since 1918.
Around 1918, Ivy Ledbetter Lee — a publicist, not a productivity guru — offered Charles M. Schwab, president of Bethlehem Steel, one routine: write the six most important things for tomorrow, rank them, and start at the top. Weeks later, Schwab reportedly sent him a check for $25,000, calling it the most valuable advice he had received.
The check is likely legend, popularized by self-help books decades later. The method outlived Bethlehem Steel all the same. Just Six is that routine, stripped to its six slots.
Tonight, write tomorrow's six
Before the day starts, name the six things that matter most. Not ten. Six.
Rank them 1–6
Order by importance, not by how loud each one is shouting.
Work top to bottom
Stay on #1 until it is done, or consciously move on. No whim-jumping.
Spill over honestly
Anything unfinished rolls into tomorrow's top slot — the cap still holds.
The Daily Sequence
Structured for natural cadence.
Every element calibrated to eliminate cognitive friction and keep you focused on execution.
List six
Each morning, write down up to six intentional commitments for today. No endless backlogs or bloated back-burners.
Check off
Glance, tap to complete, get back to life. A daily loop designed to be closed in under two seconds.
Nothing lost
Unfinished work isn't deleted — at midnight it rolls into tomorrow as the top priority, taking one of the six slots. Tomorrow's list stays honest.
Radical reduction as an operating system.
The cap is the feature. Six items is a hard boundary, never a limitation.
Zero-friction daily loop. Glance, check off, close.
Unfinished leads tomorrow. Leftovers roll to the top of tomorrow's six — capped by design, guilt-free.
Personal and offline-first. Your six, your notes, your streak — on your device, quietly backed up. No trackers. No ads.
Just Six is offline-first: today's six, your notes and your streak live on your device. In the background they replicate to secure cloud storage within about a minute, and media you attach is backed up as you add it — so nothing is lost, and nothing is sold.
Define what matters. Ignore the rest.
